Chinese Ordering Vocabulary
By taking this course, you will:
- be able to fluently read and understand the Chinese descriptions of dishes on restaurant menus;
- learn how to ask servers about the restaurant's specialties, recommended dishes, etc., in Chinese;
- master and skillfully use the basic sentence patterns for ordering in Chinese, such as "I'd like to order...", "Is this dish spicy?";
- understand and be able to mention personal taste preferences when ordering, such as "less salt", "no spicy", etc.;
- in a restaurant setting, be able to confidently communicate with servers to complete the entire process from ordering to paying the bill.
