Course Title: Mastering Chinese Weather Expressions and Inquiries

By taking this course, you will:

  • be able to accurately understand and respond to Chinese inquiries about "What's the weather like today?", including describing weather conditions (e.g., sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy), temperature, wind strength, and other elements;
  • be able to initiate inquiries about the weather in Chinese, mastering various expressions for asking about weather conditions;
  • be able to read and understand texts containing weather information written in Chinese characters, such as weather forecasts, news reports, etc.;
  • master and skillfully use common Chinese vocabulary and sentence patterns for describing weather conditions, such as "It's sunny today, with a temperature of 25 degrees," "There will be showers tomorrow, please remember to bring an umbrella";
  • be able to quickly and accurately input Chinese vocabulary and phrases representing weather conditions using the Pinyin input method on electronic devices, such as "clear," "cloudy," "torrential rain," etc.
